TECHNICAL FIELD [0001] The present invention relates to the problem of the extraction of watch case glasses.
State of the art [0002] The watch cases generally comprise a middle part, a removable bottom and a telescope which makes it possible to maintain the ice. This bezel can be fixed or rotary, especially in the case of diving watches or watches equipped with a tachometer.
The bezel is generally driven, clipped or introduced on the middle part by elastic deformation of the bezel or a bezel spring. It is sometimes necessary to extract it from the middle, for example to replace the ice or the spring of bezel. In the prior art, the extraction is generally done using a clamp, a suction cup or other gripping tool which grips the bezel by its upper or lateral face to pull it over of the middle part. Frequently, the bezel is scratched or damaged during this operation.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION [0004] An object of the present invention is therefore to propose another method of extracting a watch bezel, as well as a watch and a tool adapted to this new process.
According to the invention, these goals are achieved in particular through an extraction of the bezel from below, through holes provided for this purpose in the middle part.
According to the invention, these objects are also achieved in particular by means of a watch middle comprising: a bezel location for mounting a watch bezel; at least one through hole from below the middle to the location of the bezel, intended to insert at least one rod for the extraction of the bezel from below.
In the present patent application, the underside or the underside of the various parts, including the bezel, is defined with respect to a position of the watch on its bottom.
The location of the telescope may be constituted by a scope or a portion of the middle part intended to be occupied by a telescope. The location of the telescope may include a telescope path, that is to say a portion of the middle part on which the telescope is placed.
The through holes can be oriented vertically, perpendicular to the dial, when the watch is placed on its bottom.
This middle thus allows a telescope extraction pressing by means of one or more rods on its underside, generally hidden, and therefore without risk of scratching or damaging a visible portion of the telescope.
The middle part may comprise a removable bottom. The through hole or holes are advantageously placed on a diameter smaller than that of the removable bottom; they are thus concealed and protected when the removable bottom is in place. Holes on a larger diameter can also be considered.
It is possible to replace the bottom of the watch by a support portion for the rods. The shape and diameter of the bearing portion are provided to prevent clogging of the holes.
The through hole (s) may have a first diameter in a portion near the bearing portion, and a second diameter smaller than the first diameter in an upper portion near the bezel location. A portion of the hole, for example the portion of first diameter, may be threaded. This allows the extraction of the bezel by means of a screw engaged in this threaded hole, for example for a user who has no tool available.
In order to distribute the pressure on the underside of the telescope, to avoid its deformations and to ensure that it raises perpendicularly to the telescope path, the number of extraction holes is preferably equal to or greater than to two, for example equal to four.
The extraction holes may be distributed with an angular distance between irregular holes, so as not to interfere with passage holes for push buttons or crown for example.
The removable bezel can be a rotating bezel.
In one embodiment, the one or more through holes open directly below the underside of the bezel. The bezel is then raised by the pressure of the rods in direct contact with its underside.
In another embodiment, the watch case further comprises a flange. Through holes can open under the flange. The telescope can rest at least partly on the flange. The bezel and the flange are then lifted simultaneously by the pressure of the rods in contact with the underside of the flange.
The bezel and the flange can be made in two parts or in one piece.
The watch case may comprise a removable bottom screwed by its periphery to the middle part. This bottom can be removed to access the movement from below. I! can also be replaced by a support portion serving as a fulcrum to an extraction tool.
The invention also relates to a watch window extraction tool comprising at least one eyeglass extraction rod, a bearing portion against a watch middle, and displacement means for moving said rods. extraction relative to the support portion so as to extract said removable bezel by pressing on its underside.
The bearing portion may be provided with a peripheral thread for screwing to the middle part, replacing the bottom of the watch. Other fastening means to the middle part can be imagined.
The means for moving the rods may comprise a threaded element that can be screwed or unscrewed to move it relative to the support portion so as to exert pressure on the removable bezel through the extraction rod or rods. .
The bearing portion may comprise an inner face intended to be turned towards the watch middle and an outer face opposite to the inner face. The tool may comprise a protruding axial threaded rod in the center of this outer face. The threaded element is then engaged on this threaded axial rod.
Different extraction rods can be interconnected to move simultaneously and parallel. They can be linked together by a sliding plate. The threaded element may be arranged to exert pressure on this connecting plate.
The invention also relates to a method for extracting a watch bezel comprising the following steps: inserting a plurality of extraction rods into through holes through a middle part; moving said rods relative to said middle so as to push said watch bezel from below.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES [0027] Examples of implementation of the invention are indicated in the description illustrated by the appended figures in which:
Fig. 1 illustrates an exploded view of a watch with an extraction tool according to the invention.
Fig. 2 illustrates a sectional view of a watch with an extraction tool according to the invention.
Example (s) of Embodiment of the Invention [0028] An example of a watch and an extraction tool is illustrated in the figures. The watch comprises a watch case 3 with a caseband 1 and a removable bezel 10, here a rotating bezel. The caseband 1 has an opening on its underside with a thread for screwing a bottom. In the figures, the bottom used to close the box during its normal use has been unscrewed and replaced by a bearing portion 20 provided with a peripheral thread 200; this piece is part of tool 2.
A watch glass 13 is held by the bezel 10 on the periphery of the dial. It is also possible to provide a flange on the dial, the bezel can rest on or against the flange.
The bezel can be rotated on a bezel path constituted by a portion of the upper face of the middle part 1 and / or the flange. Reference numeral 100 indicates the upper face of the bezel 10, which may be provided with a marking; 101 denotes the underside of the bezel, bearing against the bezel path. The volume 12 occupied by the telescope in place is called the telescope location. The bezel can be driven out or held by compression of elastic seals or a spring.
One or more holes 11 cross the middle in a substantially vertical direction when the watch is placed on its bottom. The holes 11 open on one side on the lower face 14 of the middle part 1, on a circle of radius greater than the bearing portion 20; on the other, they point towards the lower face 101 of the telescope 10, either as illustrated directly under this telescope, or under the flange on which the telescope rests. The holes do not reach the internal volume of the movement.
In this embodiment, the middle part has four peripheral holes distributed with an angular distance between irregular holes so as not to collide with the horizontal holes for the push buttons or the winding stem. The presence of several holes makes it possible to distribute the pressure under the telescope during the extraction, and to raise it in a vertical direction. A number of different holes and a regular or equidistant distribution can be envisaged.
The through holes 11 have a lower portion with a first diameter and an upper portion with a second diameter smaller than the first diameter. A portion of the holes can be tapped in order to screw screws allowing the extraction of the bezel even without tools.
The bearing portion 20 temporarily screwed into the middle part 1 comprises a threaded rod 201 projecting in the center of the outer lower face 203. A sliding plate 21 provided with a hole 210 can slide freely around this threaded rod 201. Four rods 21 are connected to this sliding plate 21, with a disposition corresponding to that of the holes 11. Each rod has a large-diameter portion 221 and a distal portion 220 with a smaller diameter. The rods 21 can slide in the corresponding holes 11 when the plate 21 moves around the rod 201. For this purpose, the diameter of the large-diameter portion 221 corresponds to that of the diameter of the enlarged portion of the hole 11, while the diameter of the distal portion 220 of small diameter corresponds to that of the upper part of the hole, the clearance between the rod 22 and the hole 11 allowing easy sliding of each rod in the corresponding hole.
A threaded element 23 is screwed onto the end of the threaded rod 201, so as to exert pressure on the sliding plate 21 to push the rods 22 in the holes 11. A washer 225 can be interposed between the sliding plate 21 and the threaded member 23 to distribute the pressure exerted on the plate. The threaded element 23 comprises in this example a threaded tube 231, for example a metal tube, and a handle 232 driven or overmolded around this tube, for example a handle or a plastic wheel.
In an embodiment not shown, the number of rods 22, their spacing and / or the diameter on which they are arranged can be adjusted to suit different sizes of middle or different types of watch. For this purpose, the connecting plate 21 may comprise several predefined locations for screwing or mounting repositioned rods 22 in a configuration chosen by the user.
We will now describe the extraction process of the telescope 10 and, optionally, the reheat, using this tool 2.
In a first step, the watchmaker dismounts the existing bottom of the watch case and replaces it with the bearing portion 20 screwed by its periphery, through screws or by tight fit. It then slides the slider 21 on the threaded rod 201, placing the rods 22 facing or in the holes 11 through the middle. The extraction of the bezel and, in a variant, the flange, is then caused by placing the washer 225 and the threaded element 23 on the end of the threaded rod, before tightening the threaded element until the pressure exerted by the rods 22 under the lower surface of the flange or the bezel causes the extraction of the bezel and / or the flange.
